On September 1, 2023, the Swiss Ophthalmological Society awarded the 2023 Hans Goldmann Lecture to Professor Eric Souied in Lausanne.
Hans Godlmann, ophthalmologist and inventor, was the creator of the Goldmann tonometer, the perimeter and the 3-mirror glass of the same name. He directed the Bern Eye Clinic from 1935 to 1968.
Professor Eric Souied gave a conference on the theme “How do we deal with AMD patients in the next 5 years?” after an introduction by Professor Sandrine Zweifel.
